About this program
Launched April 2025 as part of the UK Government's Warm Homes Plan, this grant provides up to £15,000 for energy efficiency improvements such as solar panels and an additional £15,000 for low-carbon heating installations. Administered through local authorities in England and Wales, it targets fuel poverty and carbon reduction.
Eligibility requirements
- Must reside in England in an eligible postcode area
- Privately-owned home (owner-occupier or private renter with landlord participation)
- Combined gross annual household income under £36,000, or receiving government benefits (Universal Credit, Child Benefits, etc.)
- Or a household member has a health condition adversely affected by a cold home
- Renters must apply through their local authority
- Available until 2028
